FAQ
In which data center are your Los Angeles VPS servers located?
Our Los Angeles VPS servers are hosted at DataBank (One Wilshire), 624 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90017, USA. One of the most densely interconnected facilities in the world-ideal for West Coast and Asia-Pacific connectivity.

What hardware do your Los Angeles VPS servers run on?
Our Los Angeles VPS run on Intel Xeon E5-2695 v4 host machines (18 cores / 36 threads, 2.1 GHz base, 3.3 GHz turbo, 45 MB cache) at DataBank One Wilshire. Every LA VPS is a KVM virtual machine with dedicated DDR4 ECC memory, 100% Enterprise SSD storage and a 500 Mbit/s port. One Wilshire is one of the best-connected buildings on the US West Coast, which suits projects serving California and the Asia-Pacific region.
Who is the Los Angeles location a good fit for?
Los Angeles is where traffic between North America and Asia-Pacific changes hands, and the facility is One Wilshire, the building most of that interconnection happens in. Take it if your users are in California or the US West Coast, or if you serve Asia-Pacific and want a North American endpoint that is genuinely close to those routes rather than nominally on the right coast. It is also the usual pick for media and streaming work that needs to sit near west-coast networks. The node runs Intel Xeon E5-2695 v4 with 45 MB of cache and Enterprise SSD; if you need the newer Xeon Gold platform on the west side, Phoenix is the closer option. California is a US jurisdiction, with no EU or UK residency benefit.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Discover & Diners, China UnionPay, bank transfers and PayPal.
How much does it cost to enable automatic backups?
An instance with automatic daily backups enabled will have a 20% higher base monthly fee. Weekly backup for free.
I don't see my preferred operating system listed. Can I provide my ISO image of OS to install on VPS?
Yes, please provide a direct HTTP or HTTPS download link for the ISO image in your support ticket. Ensure that the link does not require authorization for access and submit it to our support team.
Do you support multiple IP addresses per VPS?
Many of our plans come with one primary IPv4 address. Additional addresses are available for an extra fee.
Do you allow SMTP?
In some instances, outbound traffic to the SMTP port may be blocked for new accounts. If you encounter this restriction, contact our support team from the portal.
What type of virtualization do you use?
We utilize KVM virtualization on all of our infrastructure.
Do you charge for stopped instances?
Yes, instances in a stopped state continue to reserve dedicated system resources (RAM, SSD storage, IP aliases, vCPU). If you wish to no longer accumulate charges for a virtual machine, please use the «Request cancelation» button in Client area of Portal.
What will happen when the bandwidth volume runs out?
– For the plan with one vCPU and two vCPU, the port speed will be reduced to 5Mbps.
– For all other plans, the port speed will be set to 10Mbps.
Do you support rDNS (PTR)?
Yes. We fully support rDNS. Every client can add or edit rDNS (PTR) records for their IPs directly in the Client Area
